Golfing Breaks at The Retreat are new for 2009.
Along with Carp angling, Craig's other passion is Golf, and in
between the running of the retreat with his wife Caroline he has
found some superb local courses and can arrange everything required
for a golfing break in France.
Golfing breaks are available for 4 or 7 days
and include:
Accommodation at The Retreat, 4 (or 6) days
golf (a different course each day), collection from the airport if
you fly and all transport to and from the courses. Breakfast before
you go and an evening meal. All green fees and arrangements will be
done for you so all you've got to do is play like Tiger Woods!

Avrille Golf Club
An invigorating stroll in the surrounds of a
17th century château, in the beautiful valley of the maine.
Just 10 minutes from the town center of Angers,
in the prestigious setting of the Château de la Perrière, this
pretty course, flat and hilly in equal parts, is a nature lover's
delight, with no less than 75 varieties of the maple tree for you
to identify !
Variety is its most pleasing feature : well-designed dog-legs and
fiercely protected greens
Sablé-Solesmes Golf Club
In the heart of the Sarthe valley, a land
teeming with the natural beauty of its forests, streams and rolling
countryside, bloom the 27 holes of the Sablé-Solesmes Golf Club,
along with the 9 holes of its teaching course.
Here you will find a veritable jewel born of
the passion of a man inspired by his love for his native region, and
courses made to measure by the architect Michel Gayon, who at
Sablé-Solesmes has created his masterwork
The promoter wanted a golf club of the very
highest quality, carefully planned down to the smallest detail,
where excellence and a strong golfing challenge would go hand in
hand with pleasure and serenity. This objective of bringing forth a
course exceptional both for its diversity and for its quality was
achieved in 1992, and each year since has witnessed an unstinting
effort to refine and improve all aspects of the club. It's an
unmissable experience only 1 hour and 15 minutes away from Paris-Montparnasse,

Golf de Baugé
Located in the heart of the "Baugeois"
forests, in an exceptionally green setting, this
undulating course preserves all the charm of its
environment with its natural hazard, rustic and calm
setting and will appeal to you by its professional
layout.
A driving range on covered and grass
tees, putting and pitching greens and a 3 holes compact
course complete this par 72 designed by the french
architect Alain PRAT.
